Herndon Skatepark, Herndon, VA

   

Hammerhead Construction is constructing a New Concrete Skatepark for the Town of Herndon in Trailside Park. The park features a street skating area, rails and a large bowl. It is scheduled to open in fall of 2010.

Most of the concrete is poured, and steel is being installed

     

August 25, 2010

With all of the ramps and bowls poured, the flatwork concrete is starting

     

August 23, 2010

The shotcrete work is being completed on the ramped areas

     

August 17, 2010

Shotcrete has started and the coping is being installed at the bowl

     

August 5, 2010

Formwork and rebar is being installed following the shaping of the site

     

July 9, 2010

The site is secured and excavation and shaping begins
