Trailside Park
September
25, 2010: Herndon Mayor Steve DeBenedittis, members of the Town
Council, the town's parks and recreation staff and many volunteers
greeted a large crowd of skaters and bikers at the ribbon cutting of
Herndon's new skatepark at Trailside Park on Saturday.

Design/Build Project Wins State Award
September
20, 2010: The Virginia Recreation and Parks Society awarded The
Fairfax County Park Authority the award for having the Best New
facility in a community with the population over 150,000 at their
State conference over the weekend. The recognition was for the new
horse barns at Frying Pan Farm Park. This project was a design/build
project for Hammerhead Construction that was completed last fall. To

Congressman Visits
Hammerhead Project
August 27, 2010:
Hammerhead's renovation project The Warren County Community Center
in Front Royal, VA was visited by Congressman Frank Wolf of the 10th
District. The new center was built with the assistance of funds that
Representative Wolf helped secure. The event was also attended by
many local officials from Warren County. The Center is scheduled to
open in early fall of this year and will be a great asset to the
community.

Selected for Herndon's Skatepark

May 12, 2010: The Town
of Herndon
has been working hard to get a skatepark for many years, it is now
getting closer to a reality. The new skatepark at Trailside Park
that was designed by Grindline
Skateparks has been awarded to Hammerhead Construction.
Hammerhead has teamed with Top
Gun, Inc. who helped create The Vans Skatepark at Potomac Mills
Mall as well as others in the area. It will be an all concrete park
with both street skating areas as well as ramps and bowls. The park
will be an asset for the community as well as all of the team that
helped get it completed.

Clarke County
Courthouse Renovation Starting Soon

April 20, 2010:
The Historic County Courthouse facility in Berryville, VA that was
originally built in 1840 will be going under a renovation, and
Hammerhead Construction is contracted for the job. The scope
includes both interior and exterior renovations and will take five
months to complete.

Renovate Woodbridge Building
March 30, 2010:
Hammerhead's first customer has decided to take a former building
occupied by a newspaper company and convert it into a modern medical
facility. The 18,000 square foot project is a design-build with
John F, Heltzel,
AIA and includes a full exterior facelift, interior gut job, and
the creation of three separate medical suites. The project is
scheduled for completion in the fall of 2010.

Hillside Park in
Arlington is Getting a New Look
November 24, 2009:
Hammerhead Construction was offered a contract for the renovation
project of Hillside Park in Arlington. The project consists of new
walkways, decks, concrete walls, decorative metal panels,
furnishings and play equipment. The project starts this December and
will be ready for the community in the spring.

Hammerhead goes to
West Virginia
November 18, 2009:
Following a successful tenant fit-out project in Dulles, VA for
Concert Technologies,
Hammerhead Construction was contracted to renovate a facility that
they also have in Ranson, West Virginia. It is Hammerhead's first
project in the Mountaineer State, and we look for it to be the first
of many successful projects there.

Hammerhead Contracts
with ABC VA for a Renovation
September 22, 2009: The
Annandale Virginia ABC store is going to undertake a major exterior
renovation. The work will include a items such as a new parking lot
and entry and a new roof. Hammerhead Construction was awarded the
contract for the project following a competitive bid. The project
will start this fall and expects to be completed before the end of
the year.

another Contract with Fairfax County Parks

May 14, 2009:
Hammerhead Construction was awarded a second contract with FCPA at
their Lake Fairfax facility. This project consists of
design-building four picnic shelters. The project is being started
over the summer and will be completed in November of 2009.

offers Contract to Hammerhead Construction

January 12, 2009:
Frying Pan Farm
Park is renovating their facility by removing four outdated
horse barns and building two new larger and more modern structures.
Hammerhead Construction competitively bid this design-build project,
and with the Barns & Stables
barn package won the bid. Each barn will house up to ninety horse
stalls. The project also includes extensive sitework improvements,
new site utilities as well as a tractor shed. The entire project is
scheduled for completion by next fall.
Hammerhead is Awarded
Contract from Frederick, MD
November
25, 2008: The Clustered Spires Golf Club is renovating their
clubhouse as well as adding a 1,320 square foot addition all
designed by
Proffitt
& Associates. Hammerhead Construction will be performing the
work after being awarded the contract by The City of Frederick. The
project will take about five months to complete and fully open for
their springtime business.

Blenheim Interpretive
Center Opens
November 1, 2008: The
ribbon was cut by The Mayor of Fairfax and the Blenheim Interpretive
Center was open to the public. Both Hammerhead Construction as well
as Superintendent Jerry Grill were recognized for their efforts.
Many local dignitaries and neighbors attended as well as Civil War
Reenactors that gave the site an authentic feel. The project looks
great and all parties view the project as a success.


Hammerhead Wins
Contract for NVCC Project
September 10, 2008: A
contract has been awarded from
Virginia's Community College System to install an addition and
an elevator at Northern Virginia
Community College's Annandale, Virginia campus. The project
starts in October and we are glad to continue our relationship with
them.

Contract Awarded for
Work at the Willard Hotel
April 16, 2008:
Hammerhead is teaming up again with
Advanced Equipment for some renovations at the historic
Willard Intercontinental Hotel in Washington DC. The project
will take place in late May, and we look forward to working with
them again.

Ideal School's Coming
to Loudoun County
April
8, 2008:
The first school of it's kind is coming to
Loudoun County and Hammerhead Construction has been chosen as a team
member for this exciting project.
Ideal School
will be the
County's first High-Tech Independent High School, and along with
Reader & Swartz Architects
we will be helping the Owner see his ideas come to fruition. This is
a design-build project that has been fast-tracked so that the school
can open this fall.

Construction Starting
Soon for Prince William County
March 24, 2008:
Hammerhead Construction was awarded a contract from Prince William
County to renovate one of their buildings for a new Voter
Registration Office. Construction of the 5,900 square foot facility
is starting in April and should be completed in the summer.

Onyx Group for The Onyx Group
March 6, 2008: For many
of Hammerhead's projects we have been fortunate to be teamed up with
The Onyx Group. They are a
firm that does Architecture, Planning, Design and Technology
Services. When they decided to do a renovation project for their
Alexandria, VA offices, they called Hammerhead Construction. We are
teaming up for everything from preliminary budgeting through
completion of the project. We hope to start building in the next few
weeks, look for update photos on our projects page.

Hammerhead Moving
December 20, 2007: Next
week Hammerhead headquarters will be moving. We've outgrown the
offices we were in for the past two years and are moving a few miles
away to a larger space. All of our new contact information is on our
home page, so please change all of your address books.
The First Annual
Hammerhead Invitational
October 11th: We all
went
to Raspberry Falls Golf and Hunt Club in Leesburg for our first
in-house golf tournament. It was a nice way to spend a fall
afternoon away from work. The team of Tom, Ken and JB beat up on the
team of Craig, Greg and Jerry with a winning score of two
under par. Their winning round was capped off with an eagle on the
539 yard par five eighteenth hole.

Construction
October
1, 2007: A Letter of Intent was submitted to Hammerhead Construction
from the Upper Occoquan Sewage Authority in Centreville, VA for the renovation and
additions to their Administration Building. The total building
square footage is 7,800 square feet. The project is scheduled to
start this month and be completed in fall of 2008.

with The City of Fairfax
August 8, 2007:
Hammerhead Construction is very glad to announce that they have been
awarded the contract to construct The Blenheim Interpretive Center.
The project consists of a new 5,000sf building, surrounding walkways
with support areas, a pergola, stone patio and exterior decks. The
project is in conjunction with
The Historical Society of
Fairfax City, and will share the site with the Historic Blenheim
Estate and Grandma's Cottage both which are important pieces to the
history of the area. Construction will start this month and be
completed by the summer of 2008.

Independence Day in
Purcellville
July 4, 2007:
Hammerhead was represented in Purcellville's celebration of our
Country's birth by participating in their annual parade. As a member
of the Purcellville
Business & Professional Association we were glad to join other
local businesses in this special event.


Construction Starting
On Equine Center
May 23, 2007: Virginia
Tech awarded the construction contract for their new
Marion Dupont
Scott Equine Medical Center to Hammerhead Construction. This project
includes full sitework and constructing a 3,000sf structure with the
equipment and laboratories to research and treat the horses at their
facility.
Hammerhead and Spicy
Pickle
November 28, 2006:
Hammerhead Construction received a Letter of Intent to contract with
Spicy Pickle a national
restaurant chain, to build their first Virginia restaurant in
Ashburn. The project is scheduled to start in December and will open
after the first of the year. We look forward to starting a long term
relationship with them.

Construction Starts
on Sparkles! Chantilly
October 2, 2006: The
build-out of the
Sparkles! Daycare Center in Chantilly, VA started today when
Hammerhead Construction hit the job. The project is a 6,400 square
foot facility in a new building the space was designed by
Bucher/Borges
Group Architects and it is scheduled to be open by January 2007.

to Build Coffee Shop
September 20, 2006:
Hammerhead Construction has been selected to buildout a
Daily Grind
coffee shop in a new plaza in Ashburn, VA. We hope to build a long
term relationship with them throughout their nationwide expansion.
The space is 1,320 square feet and construction will begin around
October 2nd.

Purcellville
Volunteer Rescue Squad chooses Hammerhead for Renovation
September 5, 2006: A
Letter of Intent was submitted to Hammerhead Construction today from
The Purcellville
Volunteer Rescue Squad for the renovation and expansion of their
facility. The project includes adding a second floor to their
building, enlarging the overall footprint and all new interior
finishes. The project is scheduled to begin this month.

Thanks to My Girl
Charters
August 16, 2006:
Hammerhead decided to give everyone a break for a day and went on a
fishing charter with
My
Girl Charters in Edgewater, MD. The trip was a success and
Captain Steve with First Mate Laura made sure nobody went home empty
handed.


Hammerhead to
buildout two tenant spaces in Haymarket
July 19, 2006: In a
building soon to be completed in Haymarket, VA, Hammerhead
Construction was approached and later contracted to buildout the
interior spaces for the building Owner's tenants. The building is
owned and managed by
REMAX -
Olympic Realty and the tenants will be Genesis Realty and Unity
Title. The office spaces take up over 7,500 square feet of the
building and construction will start on July 24th.

Hammerhead signs
contract with EMCOR & C.E. Smith Real Estate Services
June 6, 2006:
Hammerhead Construction is contracted to design-build three dock
lifts and precast enclosures for three buildings in Reston,
VA. This project came to us through
Advanced Equipment Co., Inc. who is furnishing the lifts. The design is currently underway by
The Onyx Group and we look
forward a successful project.
